Permanent Makeup – What is it?
Permanent makeup is essentially a tattoo that makes you appear as if you're always wearing makeup. In fact, the procedure is much like that of getting a tattoo -- the technician applies the pigment with a needle. It is typically done to parts of the face to enhance the colors of eyebrows, lips and eyes. When done properly, it creates a very natural look and reduces the need for makeup.

Microblading – What is it?
Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo technique used to create the illusion of fuller brows, also known as 3D brows.
First, we consult with clients about the best brow shape for their face and chooses a color that matches the natural hair color and skin undertone.
The brow area is then cleaned and numbed for the treatment. Instead of using a tattoo machine, we use a little handheld tool to manually draw hair strokes. Lastly, we apply an ointment like the EyebrowDoctor Aftercare to help with the healing process.

How long does Microblading last?
With proper care and a touch-up session 4-8 weeks after the initial procedure, it normally can last anywhere between 1-3 years.
However, Microblading at Vy Brows can keep the color up to 5 years because we use high grade products, pigments and special techniques that helps eyebrow last longer. Also, this depends on how oily each individual client’s skin is, health and maintenance.
** Touch up sessions every 12-18 months are suggested to keep the eyebrows constantly looking full.

Does Microblading hurt?
There may be mild discomfort depending on the sensitivity of each client.
Topical numbing cream is applied to the area to minimize any pain.
